Guide To....
Choosing a Badminton Bag
Racket bags have evolved and
now come in a range of shapes, sizes and
colours.
Depending upon the number of rackets
you need to carry and whether you want to be able to fit your
shower stuff in as well you can be sure to find a bag that
suits your needs. Some bags are able to carry as many of as 10
rackets.
All the leading brands produce a wide
range of badminton bags with a variety of different
functionality. A badminton bag should be strong and durable to
help prevent the rackets from accidental damage.
An over-the shoulder bag is normally
lightweight, with a long strap which enables the bag to be
carried over the shoulder. They can normally carry a number of
rackets together with additional compartments for shuttlecocks
and other accessories.
If you are looking for a bag that is
larger, big enough to carry rackets, shuttles, and dirty kit
then a holdall maybe more appropriate.
Buying
Advice
When you are deciding on which
badminton bag to buy make sure all your rackets will fit in, as
ultimately the bag is there to protect your rackets. Make sure
the rackets fit in comfortably and you can get all the rackets
in and out easily.
If you know that you will have
considerable distance to carry your rackets and badminton
equipment then make sure you choose a bag with a soft
comfortable strap.
